Other Locations for Public Computer Access and Internet Use:

There are a number of locations across the Coachella Valley where the public can access computers to prepare resumes to email or up load them to Job Match, or print out to submit hard copies, and you may even be able to take the County assessment tests that are currently available online.  (Check at the location for length of connection time permitted.)

Scheduling for an Assessment

To schedule for an assessment for a position which requires skills testing, contact the Human Resources Assessment Center in Riverside for an appointment time to test in Indio; periodic testing is also scheduled for the Blythe area at the Palo Verde College.  Space is limited so please contact us in advance.

All applicants will need to bring a valid, Government-issued photo I.D. (such as a driver's license) and a detailed resume clearly describing all experience and dates of employment on plain white paper.

 Veterans:
Veterans will need to bring a copy of their DD-214 and letter of service-related disability (if applicable) at the time of the exam for consideration for Veteran's Preference.

Career Resource Area

There are two Career Resource Area locations in the Desert,  provided by the Riverside County Economic Development Agency, the largest facility is maintained at the Workforce Development Center located in Indio, and a scaled down version is located in the Westfield Palm Desert, regional shopping mall, along with facilities for the College of the Desert’s off campus training program, “Institute for Sales and Service Excellence” (ISSE).
