On September 8, 2008, the Board of Supervisors approved a contract for Partnership for Youth Success (PaYS) with the US Army.  The Army Partnership for Youth Success (PaYS) is a recruiting contract between the County of Riverside and the US Army in which the Army has agreed to match acquired skills in the military occupational speciality training with County employment opportunities.  Army PaYS is not a guarantee of employment; it is, however, an opportunity to receive consideration for employment via a one-time meeting with a post-military recruit that has developed professional work habits and technical skills.
