About the Initiative

The Leadership Initiative program identifies, trains, develops, mentors & shapes the County's future leaders




Nearly all current County of Riverside department heads and senior managers will retire, and replacements will be needed within the next 10-15 years.  At the same time a shortage of available, qualified leaders and managers in the labor force is anticipated, coupled with an explosive population growth within the county.
