Veterans' Preference

Veterans’ Preference provides veterans opportunities to receive interviews in the selection process with the County of Riverside. Veterans and spouses of disabled or deceased veterans, will be given an interview if they apply for positions and meet the requirements as outlined in Board Policy C-3. VET Program

VET Program

The Veteran Education and Training program allows the County to offer temporary apprenticeship, or on-the-job training opportunities, throughout departments in a variety of occupational areas. This program is an effective tool for broadening veterans' knowledge, skills, and abilities to be competitive candidates for regular county careers.
