About Us
The Learning & Organizational Development Team is dedicated to the County of Riverside's vision to provide learning courses (live, online, blended, etc.) offerings to County employees. We are also here to provide support and consult with County employees and departments regarding their questions and training needs. This page should provide resources and the process for a request to add your departments learning content into our RivCo Talent Learning Management System (LMS). First Steps
Discover the Training Needs
Decide your departments overall training needs and what you are trying to attain by working with our team to add courses into our RivCo Talent.
Schedule a Consultation
Contact our team to meet and discuss the training needs. At this meeting, we will also discuss the timeline, plan, training, and resources.
Meet with Instructional Design Team
During this meeting, please bring information about your training courses, which includes types of courses, how many courses, etc. Our team would like to know all of the details of the courses that you are requesting to be added to RivCo Talent.
Second Steps
Collect & Prepare Training Materials
At this stage, you will prepare all training materials and then send these materials to the ID Team to begin testing the courses in the LMS stage environment.
Upload Courses in LMS
After testing the courses in RivCo Talent, the courses will be uploaded to the Production environment. Based on the Go Live date, the training materials will be available for learners to enroll in and complete the courses.
Review and Maintain Courses
After the courses are available in RivCo Talent, there will be a continuing maintenance plan for making sure that the content is current and is working in the system.
