Assessing Employee Issues
The ER Checklist is a comprehensive, just-in-time, learning tool created to assist supervisors and managers in a quick and efficient manner with their employee-related needs and inquiries. It is designed to assist with quickly identifying and triaging possible disciplinary matters, on their own, prior to any assistance from County HR. This tool is like having HR at your fingertips. It systematically walks you through the steps of assessing employee conduct or performance related issues, and whether pre-discipline or formal discipline might be necessary. The checklist asks pertinent questions and identifies critical steps that should be taken, and the necessary items that need to be gathered prior to contacting HR.
The ER Checklist must be completed prior to contacting Employee Relations for assistance.
