Human Resource Billing Journals
The Human Resources Accounting Division is charged with ensuring all invoices issued to our department are paid in a timely manner and that all journal entry revenue collections are processed in order to support the Human Resources services provided county-wide.
Each month, rates approved by the Board of Supervisors are charged for various HR services provided to each County Department. These services include but are not limited: general human resources functions such as recruiting, benefits, or labor relations, risk management operations, and administration of the Temporary Assistance Program.

A journal is a document in which financial data can be exchanged between departments within the county. This document can be used between departments or within departments.
